SEFE Agrees to New Natural Gas Deliveries With Trafigura

SEFE Securing Energy for Europe has signed a new natural gas supply contract with Trafigura, one of the world's leading commodity trading companies. Starting November 1, 2026, Trafigura will supply SEFE with 30 TWh of natural gas annually for a period of five years, totaling 150 TWh.

The agreement builds on the successful collaboration between SEFE and Trafigura and directly follows an existing four-year contract that expires at the end of October 2026. The volume is significantly increased compared to the previous agreement, which comprised approximately 23 TWh per year. The additional gas volumes expand SEFE's diversified procurement portfolio and make a significant contribution to security of supply in Germany and Europe. The natural gas originates primarily from Trafigura's global portfolio.
